I finally had the chance to stop by right when they opened at 5:30 pm. We were among the first customers to place our order, but soon a line formed behind us. The rice was fragrant, light, and fluffy with no greasiness. The sweet and savory sambal with visible onions paired perfectly with it. The standout dish for me was the petai and wing bean stir-fry in a savory "hae bee hiam" sauce, which maintained a delightful crunch. I preferred the crispy black sauce-coated chicken wings over the golden fried ones for their added crunch. The perfectly cooked eggs with a runny yolk and aromatic, spicy grilled Otah were also highlights. My only complaint was the absence of sliced cucumber, a crucial component of my Nasi Lemak experience. Unfortunately, they were not available that evening.
