Instead of having the bouncy texture of a good prawn cake, it came out rather mushy. The buns, however, were lovely and soft, and the batter was quite crispy! The tamago yaki was a bit better in terms of flavor; the seasoning was nice, and the tamago katsu concept added some interesting texture. Overall, I would recommend sharing the burgers, as they can become a bit plain and overwhelming to eat on their own (it's just the patty and mayo, without any veggies). I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering them again.
Situated in Paragon, Akashi offers a wide range of affordably priced Japanese cuisine, featuring sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, and grilled dishes. This varied menu makes it an ideal choice for any occasion, whether you’re in the mood for a relaxed lunch or celebrating a special event. Highly recommended!
The food quality here is excellent. It’s a mid to upper-range restaurant, but it's definitely worth the price. If you're in search of high-quality Japanese cuisine, this is the spot you want!
I had an incredible Ebi Katsu burger! The ebi patty was wonderfully meaty, featuring a perfect crispiness on the outside and a satisfying texture on the inside. You should definitely check out their golden brown burgers, even though they aren't on the regular menu, so make sure to ask about their availability when you go! We also enjoyed their garlic fried rice, which has quickly become one of my favorites—it's the best garlic fried rice I've had in a long time!
