I was amazed to discover that the mutton dish was actually vegan. It tasted so authentic that I was shocked to learn it was made from beans. We ordered two dishes and only paid 7 S$. If you're unsure of what to order, ask the friendly staff member working there for recommendations. You can find the restaurant at the yellow corner of the food court.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is no longer fully vegan. I used to love this place and would even travel specifically to eat here when I was nearby. It is disappointing to say that I have discovered they use eggs in at least one dish, as shown in the photo I have uploaded. I asked the staff if it was real egg or a substitute, and unfortunately, they confirmed it is real egg. It is a shame because the vegetable dishes are delicious, the owners are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. However, most of the food is fried, so there are definitely healthier options available. This review has been updated from my previous review on April 22, 2023.

Everything is vegan, even the ‘pork’ and the ‘chicken’. The staff is very nice and helpful, there’s plenty of choice, and the food is nothing fancy but it’s so delicious and very local!

First trip to Singapore. First trip to a hawker centre. Can’t beat the price. Friendly staff and tasty food, especially the crispy ‘pork’ soy. Also had the bee hoon (curry) which was also nice. I’ll be back for some rice and maybe some pepper tofu! Worth visiting if you’re looking for an inexpensive bit of local cuisine from friendly people.
