Joy Of Tokyo - Simpsonville

The tempura plate was disappointing. There was an excessive amount of breading, and the vegetables didn't taste fresh. While the staff was friendly, the food left much to be desired. Overall, I would rate it 1 out of 5.

The food was excellent as always, and there was no wait! I absolutely love Joy of Tokyo. Food Rating: 5/5.

I can say that this restaurant offers decent value for your money, but if you're a sushi lover, I wouldn't recommend ordering it here. I tried the shrimp tempura roll, and it was simply rice and shrimp with no additional flavors or ingredients – quite bland, really. However, the fried dumplings are always a delicious choice and a must-try. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

This was my first time at this location, but second time eating at this restaurant chain. I enjoyed the visit here better than the last location. The service was great and the food came out good as well. I don’t recommend the chicken. It is WELL DONE and dry.Food: 3/5

Bad service, high price for undercooked scallops, vegetables and dry rice. No point on leaving a good tip, you pick up your own food when they yell at you “don’t mind being on a call” and you pick up after yourself. My husband and I got hibachi and a kids rice and shrimp because there is NO KIDS MENU and paid $55.00 for undercooked food. Not to mention there was a long white dog on my kids food.
