Anita's - Simpsonville

I just had an $11 burrito here, but they might as well call it a quesadilla because it only had chicken and cheese. Can someone explain to me in what universe it’s acceptable to serve a burrito with just chicken and cheese?

Not bad Mexican food but nothing special. I ordered the Mexican chicken soup and which was unfortunately thickly covered with cilantro. The soup was tasty but not memorable. My husband ordered the chicken fajitas which came with rice, beans, and flour tortillas. It was served on a dinner plate, not on a sizzling platter, and came with fresh guacamole. The chips and salsa were fresh and service was excellent.

Everything was great. Drive up and curbside were easy to do and everyone was very helpful. The tacos were just amazing and authentic.

Anita's is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. We've been dining there for over 25 years, and it just keeps getting better! I have to mention the amazing chicken quesadilla and the bowl of salsa that comes with chips – they’re both fantastic. And if you have room left, the desserts are definitely worth trying too!

I felt that they performed well tonight, and the food was quite delicious. Our waitress did an excellent job of getting our order right and attending to us throughout our visit. The portion sizes were standard, but I found the prices to be a bit high for what we received. Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice, quiet dinner with your wife!
