Dairy Queen - Silver Springs

After visiting several different Dairy Queens, this is the only one that knows how to make a New York Royal Blizzard correctly. They blend the ingredients all the way to the bottom. I went to the one in Bartow, and all the ingredients were just piled on top.

My wife and I had chicken tenders I had fries and she had onion rings as our sides. The chicken was good, our fries were a little old and my wife said her onion rings were greasy as hell. We also ordered the cheese bites which were a little overpriced but were delicious.

The ice cream is fantastic and always fresh. That's not why I left the review today. The main point of trying to make is this.. Dairy Queen is the best place to get chicken fingers and a fish sandwich. Burger King's big fish is a joke these days.McDonald's offers a small filet yet it still tasty but not as good as Dairy Queen's fish fillet sandwich. No other place standsto this. Visit this Dairy Queen or any other franchise for the best fish sandwich and the best chicken finger basket you canfind. Please trust me on this I have been in search of the best chicken fingers and the best fish sandwich that can be found andDairy Queen knocks it out of the park every time.

Definitely worth the wait in the drive-thru! The burgers and onion rings are underrated, as usual. Their Blizzard shakes are the closest thing we'll get to snowstorms in Marion County. Just a heads up, they don't accept large bills.

The lobby is still closed, possibly for good. The drive-thru was backed up so much that cars were parked on the tree lawn and sidewalk. However, it kept moving at a steady pace, and the staff handled the situation very well. Great job!
