Subway - Silver Spring

I've reached out to management, but I’m not sure how often they address these issues or prioritize consistency in service. I doubt the staff even knows what "consistency" means, so maybe I’m expecting too much. The employees seem unwilling to greet you or engage in conversation; they'd rather take your order while ignoring any attempt at customer interaction. It's hit or miss—sometimes you get a greeting, sometimes you don’t. I suppose if you're a regular or known by one of the long-time staff members, you might receive better treatment. But honestly, it's not my responsibility to remind the staff that they should leave their problems or biases at home and do their jobs. To make matters worse, I often have to repeat my order several times. I’m not sure if it’s a language barrier or something else entirely. Honestly, this place is disappointing. I should just drive a bit further to Norbeck and Bauer, though I imagine their customer service isn't much better. It feels like good customer service is just nonexistent these days. It seems like the younger generation doesn’t understand work ethic, at least not in my experience. Rant concluded.

This subway has the freshest bread I've ever had on every subway in the USA. Cleanliness is 10/10 here and the staff was very friendly. Management in this business definitely does her job well. Especially thanks to Karina for great sub's for our group.

I celebrated my graduation today at this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed an amazing evening, and the place was absolutely one of the reasons for this happy meeting. The waiters cooperated in a beautiful way, cooking was delicious and my mates were so enthusiastic. We will certainly return for more cheerful events. Thank you.
