We recently celebrated a family birthday dinner at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Manuel was friendly and welcoming, and shared interesting stories while offering great dinner suggestions. We tried the sardines, flambé asado, and fried calamari as appetizers, and for our main course we had the lamb rack, grilled octopus, Portuguese steak, and seafood nova europa. The food was all prepared exceptionally well in a home-cooked style, showcasing Manuel's passion and dedication. Fabulous fresh well prepared food. A great variety on the menu, and very well priced. The staff is phenomenal, very helpful in choosing dishes. This restaurant is located in a quiet plaza and I had been wanting to try it for some time. I finally made it there for lunch on a Thursday. The restaurant has a charming old-world atmosphere and we were warmly greeted by Manuel, who has been working there for 40 years as both the host and chef. He suggested we try the grilled octopus and rack of lamb, which were both delicious with tender meat and perfectly grilled. The vegetables were cooked to perfection as well. The service was excellent and we will definitely be returning in the future. The price per person for dining in is between $30-$50. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service, and atmosphere.
