La Fogata - Silver Spring

A great little food truck for some delicious pupusas and traditional street tacos. This is our second time trying the food and it?s been consistently good. We haven?t tried any of their other large entrees so I can?t say for sure what those arelike. Customer service is good and they?ve always been warm and friendly. It?s just a little family that?s running the foodtruck and it?s always great to be able to support a small local business rather than a large chain restaurant. They mentionedthat they are trying to place some chairs and tables out in front so that customers can have a place to sit and eat. Definitelyrecommend checking out their cheese pupusas and tongue tacos.

The beef and shrimp tacos were amazing! Fair prices too. I would definitely order again.

This is a good place located in a truck at the Citgo on Fenton in Downtown Silver Spring. My wife and I shared the Baledas, Griddle Beef with Rice, Pastellos de Carne, and a Tongue Quesadilla. The menu seems more Honduran and has very different items than any other Latin American place in the area. The portions are also very generous for the low cost. It quite a hidden gem in Downtown Silver Spring. We look forward to ordering from there again.

Friendly staff. Food is cooked fresh and pretty quickly. Recommend the papusas and quesadillas.

We haven't sampled any of their larger entrees yet, so I can't speak to those. The customer service is great, with the staff always being warm and friendly. It’s a small family running the truck, and it feels wonderful to support a local business instead of a big chain restaurant. They mentioned plans to set up some chairs and tables outside for customers to enjoy their meals. I highly recommend trying their cheese pupusas and tongue tacos!
