Silver Lake Chinese

The absolute best Chinese food in Kansas and the owner is a gem. You have to try the almond chicken. It's my favorite! My only complaint is I have to drive from Wichita to get it.

The best Chinese food we've ever had! The egg rolls and crab rangoons were amazing. The fried rice had the best flavor, General chicken OMG!! If you are in Sliver Lake Friday or Saturday night it is a must.

Mediocre at best. My wife and I had heard positive reviews from locals about this restaurant's Chinese food, but our experience didn’t match those expectations. The soup was lukewarm, at best—only about 10 degrees above room temperature. The egg rolls were overly greasy, and the beef and chicken dish tasted like something you'd find at a standard buffet, with the same texture to boot. The only distinction was that instead of serving yourself from a food station, you order from the kitchen and wait 15 minutes for similar-quality food to arrive. I wouldn't recommend this place.
