Holgers Kro - Silkeborg

Food was AMAZING. Our hotel referred us there, and we're glad they did. Reservations are recommended, and likely required Thursday-Sunday.

It was delicious. Very good traditional German food, with nice service. In summary a good choice to get something to eat.

Delicious Danish sandwiches and excellent, attentive service. It was our first time in Denmark, and we wanted to try the famous smørrebrød for lunch. Holgers Kro did not disappoint. The humble rye bread sandwiches get an uptown makeover at Holgers Kro and they’re delicious! The waiter took the time to explain the ingredients, suggest what to drink with the food, and give us insight to Danish culture. Before we left, he gave us a map and pointed out places we should visit while in Silkeborg. If you want to experience high quality Danish food with a warm welcome, definitely go eat at Holgers Kro. Velbekomme!

Nice place with great food and awesome service. As Americans, we showed up with no idea of what to order, but were guided toward a great lunch by our waitress.
