Chris' Drive-in - Siler City

Great burger! The Rollie Burger with additional pickles and onions could be the best burger I had in all Chatham County. Period. We have some great burgers in Chatham, but that Rollie Burger was excellent with lots of taste and cooked to perfection. Very nostalgic ride into this is really missed. The staff is fantastic and exceptionally friendly. I never called a sweet tea. That's the way a small city family dinner should be. Love this place and will go back.

I decided to stop by this restaurant in Siler City after finding out that the popular Burgerplatz was closed. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and generous serving size. The burger was served in a box, accompanied by a generous portion of hot, fresh fries. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future. Just a heads up, they only accept cash, so make sure you have some on hand. Luckily, I had enough money with me to pay for my meal.

That was the Burgerplatz. I remember Mom and Dad loading us kids to Chris in the silly town. It was the biggest ride for us kids just for a meal we literally killed Mom and Dad with whom we're already here? Watch a ride from Climax LOL. These melting burgers are the whole hype! Coupled with some good ol fresh fried onion rings, this is a meal you want again and again.

If you are in Siler City you have to try the Rollie Burger. This was a staple for me growing up here. You have not experienced Siler City until you experience this deliciousness on a bun. The place looks run down and could use quite a bit of repair, but that doesn't stop folks from coming in and enjoying this yummy food. The restrooms here are around at the back of the building and you can order at the take out window or come inside and sit at one of the several booths. The place can get a bit busy on Friday nights. Note they are only open limited hours so be sure to check the schedule so you know when to go. They are closed Sundays and Sat. Wed after 2pm. Thur. and Friday they are open until 8pm.
