Contribuiți la feedbackOn a positive note, the DFAC has some appealing features, like naturally flavored water and a nice salad bar. Unfortunately, their operating hours leave much to be desired. They open strictly at 11:30 AM, which results in a long line forming just before that time and for about 15 minutes thereafter. If they could improve anything, it would definitely be their hours. Additionally, they are closed on weekends, which means that once again, the BAS is taken, but the facility isn't available for use.
The dining experience is enhanced when you keep your feet together. Food Rating: 3/5
The food here is quite disappointing. I've traveled extensively and experienced many dining facilities, but this one is by far the worst. I'm not sure if it's worse than the other one along the postal route. The flavors are often lacking, and the portions can be inconsistent. For instance, the chicken breasts are frequently small and have a texture similar to that of an ice hockey puck—if they even serve chicken. Overall, the food is poor. At least they manage to maintain a level of consistency in that regard.
My friend got Food poisoning from the raw chicken. I didn’t. Don’t bring weak people here. This is a United States Army Dining Facility, Not a Chuckie Cheeses.
For an Army DFAC, this one was probably the best I've been to. The salad bar offerings werr actually really high quality, lots of fresh fruit and veggies. The cooks do a good job with what they have and the staff and servers are all really friendly and welcoming. The soups were actually really good too, I was impressed. Credit where credit is due.
