Contribuiți la feedbackOsteria Quattro Venti was recommended to us by locals at our hotel. The food was spectacular. It was a step above the excellent traditional local food we’ve been eating in Siena and entered the realm of fine dining. After an amuse of traditional tomato bread soup, we started with a pumpkin cream veloute that was spectacular. You could taste each individual ingredient, but the combination of flavors took it to another level. We chose the tagliatelle with ragout next. Perfectly done pasta with a hearty yet fine meat sauce. Another winner. For the main we had the Guinea Hen. I won’t describe it because it was such a delicious surprise that my words won’t do it justice. Just try it. You’ll see what I mean. The crowd was local, not touristic and we felt honored to be a part of things. Our waiter I don’t remember his name but can’t thank him enough guided us with our food choices after we asked for his help choosing between different dishes. He was so nice, funny, genuine and knew his food. He gave us all the time we needed even on a busy Saturday night and recommended an excellent Brunello that can compete with others 3 4 times the price. We finished with world class tiramisu and a killer molten chocolate pie. We topped it off with a Vin Santo that was the best I’ve ever tasted. This is one review I couldn’t wait to write.
The food was very good. Just not next level. Service was a little inattentive, but very friendly. I would not rate it as high as many other meals we have had in Italy

Il posto è esternamente non molto visibile, ma internamente è piuttosto bello. cibo semplice ma buono. vini con un bicchiere in mescita non molti purtroppo tra cui etichette a volte non prestigiose. ancora positivo.
Una sorpresa nel centro di siena, l'antipasto con cipolle caramellate sul fondo con sopra una crema di ceci con guance croccanti e crostini e al centro un tuorlo crudo è grande, davvero da provare. anche il piatto tagliato bene. i primi fatti bene, i noodles al fegatini di buon livello. e hanno anche vini bio con una buona struttura, che non rovina mai.
