Peperoni is located near the Siegburger Marktplatz in the quiet Orestiadastraße. Above the entrance to the restaurant terrace a monstrous, curved sign with the inscription “Restaurant Peperoni”. The ambience The terrace is welcoming and well protected from sun and rain with a awning and large parasol. From the awning, heat sinks are dependent which provide heat in the transition period. The furnishings of the terrace are high quality – comfortable, light brown wooden chair with matching large wooden tables. We spend the evening on the terrace, it hurts a lukewarm fan. The guest rooms of the restaurant are only accessible by the corridor to the toilet and by the service of the salad buffet. At first glance, the rooms look inviting and appealing. The tables on the terrace are tastefully covered. The cutlery is at every place in an artistically folded fabric napkin. Wine and water glasses are ready, pepper and salt mills stand on the tables. The ambience convinces us, we feel comfortable at the table on the terrace: four stars for the ambience. The service We are served in the evening by a young lady. She's very nice without acting her kindness. She asks if everything is correct and whether we like it. There are detailed answers to requests and proves that you are familiar with the dishes and preparation of the dishes. With a critical comment from my wife about the meat sauce – which later – she shows professionalism. Especially the above-average kindness of the young lady and her professional appearance let us evaluate the service with four and a half stars. Food and beverages The offer of food and beverages is partly croatian, partly international. Meat dishes outweigh. Prices are moderate. We hardly have room, the young lady rushes with the menus. She asks if we already have drinks. We did. My wife chooses a large bottle of mineral water (0.7 l for 4.90 €) due to the fact that she drives this time. I choose a • Radeberger Pils (0.5 l for € 5. Later, the young lady serves the well cooled Pils and a chilled bottle of Pellegrino. We have enough time to choose food. The young lady then notices • Rumpsteak “Diabolo” with shrimps and mushrooms in crispy sauce, with vegetables and roasted potatoes with bacon (23.90 € for my sweet and • Onion roasted roasted hip steak with roasted onions, with vegetables and roasted potatoes with bacon (19.50 € for me). A salad we want to take from the salad buffet belongs to the dish, says the young lady and shows us the way from the terrace to the salad buffet in the guest room. We put our salads together. The buffet offers leaf salads, cucumber slices, tomatoes, corn, rocket, red cabbage salad, white cabbage salad, olives, peperoni and onion strips. A Vinaigrette, a yogurt cream and a Thousand Island Dressing are offered as dressing. Salad from the buffet I My wife chooses red cabbage and white cabbage salad, tomato sauce, cucumber slices, rocket, corn and the Thousand Island Dressing. Salad buffet II I put a salad of peperoni, cucumber slices, tomato apples, leaf salads and corn together and add a lot of vinaigrette sauce. The salads are fresh and crisp. The Vinaigrette Dressing is finely tuned and spicy. Thousand Island Dressing on my wife's salad is a delicious taste. After the salads we don't wait long for our main dishes. Rumpsteak “Diabolo” with shrimps and mushrooms in a tarnated sauce, with vegetables and roast potatoes with bacon My wife's lapping steak is poured over with a sauce that is probably sharp according to the information in the menu. A large part of roasted potatoes, golden brown and vegetables, consisting of two peeled carrots, broccoli and cauliflowers, accompany the meat. The Rumpsteak is super delicate and juicy, as desired medium roasted. The sauce consists of a Djuwetsch base of tomatoes, peppers, onions, carrots and eggplants, all cut into mini cubes and cooked quite softly. It is refined with fresh mushroom slices and garnished with two small shrimps. The sauce has no sharpness, was not even spicy yet and unfortunately has a taste of a kind of grill sauce that does not sound at all. Onion grills, hip steak with roasted onions, with vegetables and roast potatoes with bacon My onion roast is like my wife's pump steak with roasted potatoes and vegetables. A neat amount of roasted onions includes steak meat. The steak is cooked as desired medium, beautiful pink and delicate. There's nothing to criticize here. Also the onions are wonderfully roasted, crispy and not greasy. I like roast potatoes. In both dishes, the roasted potatoes were crispy and roasted with small bacon pieces. The vegetables are fine, slightly spicy, but this can easily be repaired by desalination and peppering. In addition to the sauce on my wife's Rump Steak, which spread as little as baby food with "probably sharp" we are very happy with our dishes. We also let the young lady know when she asks us for our satisfaction. She apologizes several times for the “zahme sauce and wants to pass on the criticism of the kitchen. After dinner my wife still enjoys a • espresso (2nd € espresso and I a • line Aquavit (3rd €) line Aquavit If the menu had not awakened false hopes, five stars would have been justified for the otherwise very good food. These are four and a half stars. There is nothing to complain about cleanliness. The terrace is well maintained. Tables, cutlery and dishes are perfectly clean. The toilets have come a bit in the years, but well maintained and clean – both the ladies and the men's toilet. Four stars for cleanliness. The prices for the consumed foods and beverages are completely fine. We were served very accommodating, and the dishes were very well prepared, except for those little ones. The conclusion We can recommend the peperoni of good conscience. Four stars as a finish.

When we came in, we were greeted very nicely by the waitress, we were allowed to pick a table. The waiter who served us then came 10 minutes later with our main course, had forgotten our appetizer and then said that we certainly did not want our appetizer after the main dish. We agreed. We were then forgotten at our table as our main dish. The former mayor, Mr. Huhn, was held by the boss personally, with wine and nice conversations, all the more for concern. Our conclusion of what I had before Corona from the restaurant, you are unknown in the shop and not a celebrity for which the boss himself holds, you better not go.

On the way the food was tastefully very good and the service flotted and friendly. We stayed there for Christmas dinner with our colleagues and asked for a reservation for about 20 people in advance. We were then told, however, that a starter plate in the value of 11 euros must be taken from the card when the card is free. As good as that. These were four slightly larger plates, very good taste, but 20 times 11 euros not so tingling. In addition, the first invoice, which was only found in the following 12:80, was then withdrawn by complaint. In the end, I paid 50 euros for Christmas dinner alone. 4 weeks before, I was with my wife and 2 adults children in another restaurant in Siegburg and paid a total of 90 euros with tips.
