Taste of Tokyo - Sidney

Disappointing… waited for over an hour for our food … food came one person at a time it seems like eternity in between a four people seat.. food is cold and took forever to bring in the next item. Service sucks….server did not use tray to bring soup holding one bowl with thumb almost touching the food… no hairnets and very disorganized…will not recommend and will sure let know of a our poor experience waste of our hard earned dollar

Seemingly due to short staffing, there is a bit of a wait. However, we knew this going into the restaurant and it did not really impact our experience. Our server was incredibly kind and very friendly. The food was delicious and quite filling. We also found the prices to be incredibly reasonable. I would absolutely go back.

Always a treat to have take out from Taste of Tokyo. Hard working staff with very good food. The Pho is really good as well if you dont care for sushi. Cant say enough about this place. Hoping they can offer delivery again soon though :

Ordered take out (through an app) I was pleasantly surprised at how well presented everything was. Even as take out the tempura was pretty crispy so I imagine it is perfect if you dine in. The batter was light as air. Would definitely eat here again and recommend it to friends. I ordered a good cross section of dishes to try them out and everything was consistently high quality.

Walked in on my way to the ferry for a bite to eat. They were not busy with one table seated. I stood in the entrance for a good 5 minutes without any acknowledgment. Decided to leave assuming if it took that long to even seat somebody, the food would take way longer.
