Odyssia Steak House - Sidney

Our family got together for dinner the other night and did this place miss the mark on service and quality. We went for dinner at 5:30 as we had tickets to a show at 8pm so we wanted to have some time for dinner. When we arrived they sat us down and filled our water glasses. About 10 minutes passed when a waiter finally came to the table to ask if we wanted drinks. Keep in mind there were only about 4 other tables with customers and 4 people working.By the time the waiter came we were all ready to order our food as well as drinks. The waiter was very pleasant and took our orders. about 15 minutes later we still did not have our drinks and we noticed our waiter leaning against the bar playing on his phone. Another 5 minutes passed and we finally got our drinks.Another 10 minutes passed before our food came. It was barley warm at best. We didn't have time to send it back. Three of the seven of us ordered a baked pastadish which was suppose to come with Garlic Toast and none of them did.When the waiter finally came back to the table after we had all finished eating we told him that no one got their garlic toast. He arrived back at the table about 10 minutes later with our bill and three slices of garlic foil wrapped in foil.We will not be back to this place again.

It's been a long time since we've had such a lacklustre, overpriced and poorly presented restaurant visit. Very mediocre over salted food, lousy service. Get with the times!

This was one of the restaurants recommended by our hotel, and was a nice alternative to all of the pubs in this town! This restaurant has been here for many years and has lots of repeat business. Greek and Italian food. The pizza looked very good. I had ordered the fried prawns, but did not like them when they arrived, didn't like the batter, so was able to replace them with some grilled prawns instead. The potatoes and veggies were very good. My spouse had steak and spaghetti and stated they were very good.

We had never been before but chose ths place just before new year's/ It was not busy - the food was delicious and hot. A wonderful salmon dinner for my wife and steak and prawns for me. Super job!

We go here regularly for a good week night dinner. The food is well prepared in a family Greek style. Portions are generous and tasty. We usually have one of the lamb meals which are very satisfying. I have been told that the pizzas are excellent but I have not had one myself. The service is very pleasant although sometimes the wait for dinner to come is a little slower than I would like but usually only if the restaurant is very busy. I recommend Odyssia as a good, well priced family venue.
