Good Fortune Restaurant - Sidney

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. The service was very good (although we did have to track down someone to pay our bill at the end.) The food was fresh and the ginger beef was wonderfully crisp with a soft inside. The decor is tasteful, and the sound level allows for pleasant conversation.

Was expecting typical quality but really enjoyed that they had Chinese greens and some really delicious, but a bit over-sauced, ginger beef that was tender. The Singapore rice noodles was also very good and had a unique, home style flavour. Can't speak for any other menu items but we'll certainly be back.

Good food and service, pleasant, also they have a private room to seat About 10, I reserved this for my birthday last year and had family and friends, it was perfect, I would highly recommend.

There were 6 of us so we just gave the chef "carte blanche" to feed us! It went very well with great variety and taste. Servers were great fun too. Draught beer could have been improved.

Ordered take out for six of us and to be sure, ordered extra food. Picked up the order and was given an ample amount of food. By the time it was home and the package opened, the weight of the food had collapsed several of the containers resulting in a huge mess. All of us found the food to be mediocre at best and very salty. Needless to say, could have ordered much less food, since no one went for seconds! Also - not cheap!
