Chuck's Burger Bar - Sidney

Came in with my family for lunch today - couldn't hear the waitress or anything else for that matter. the music was SO loud. It's a small space and it was just way too loud. Like ridiculously loud. That being the only complaint ... excellent meal topped off with umbrella's;) we had 2 of the blue cheese bacon burgers , served with a huge mound of hot fresh crispy fries , coleslaw and a giant pickle spear! All was excellent. A huge amount of food. My mom ordered the blue cheese hot wing chips, which were good , better off ordering a giant burger for the price. All and all we will definitely be back for the food , service was great,super accommodating to my lil boy .. but really hope it's not so loud , def not a relaxing lunch experience.

Went in with family to try the place out. Started off with being told I couldnt have hot water with lemon because they have no way to make hot water other than using ths tap. We ordered 2 burgers, fries and a salad. It took over 30 minutes for 1 burger to come out with fries that were cold and the burger that did come had the wrong sauces. The 2nd burger was never made and we were told the burger ticket never got printed. Didn't help much that the 2 chefs in the kitchen were just standing around for the most part and seemed like chatting was more important than working and filling orders. If the restaurant was busy I could understand but there were less thank 10 people at the time. Very disappointed as I was told by several people how great these burgers were.

I've come here several times and have not been disappointed. The quality of the food shines through and you're hooked after your first bite! The staff is friendly and fast; and being a family run restaurant that's local makes it even sweeter. Has a liquor license too.

Dropped in here on a friends recommendation. I ordered the blue cheese and bacon burger. Comes with coleslaw and fries. All good and I especially liked the coleslaw! It has a little hot spice in it. The burger was very good and about the only improvement I could make would be to toast both the top and the inside of the buns a little more thoroughly. The meat is nice and pink inside. This might be a turn off to some but this is exactly how I would make a burger at home. The amount of food justified the price tag of (I believe) $17.99 They alsohave a good draft beer menu but I will have to go back sometime when I am not driving myself. Good enthusiastic waitress!

Very generous helpings great fries and poutine. The burgers looked awesome! Across the hiway from Sidney near the airport.
