There's a new barmaid named Kelly at the Opposite Bar, and she's excellent! She really knows her drinks and does a great job.

I returned after 15 years and everything has changed, but it was still a pleasant evening. The drinks were great, and the staff was friendly. However, there was no food available in the evening.

I had the best burger of my life here today! It was a delicious combination of portobello mushroom and halloumi, served with chips and onion rings. My parents enjoyed the pork belly and had nothing but praise for it. I would absolutely recommend this charming pub! Both the chef and the waitstaff were wonderful and incredibly helpful.
