Yolk Test Kitchen — Chicago - side

The food was ok I did enjoy the pork belly bites with the sauce. But neither my husband no I liked the chicken and waffles.

I’ve never been kicked out of a restaurant before! Food was decent and our waiter was pleasant, but they started closing the place around us while we were still eating. In fairness, they had closed, but we weren’t lingering unreasonably — there were 7—8 other tables at various stages in their meals as well. Yolk actually turned off the lights to get people to wrap it up! Maybe don’t seat people if you’re not going to allow them to finish their food?

This is my first time at the “Test Kitchen” location and in my opinion I liked them better than the standard locations because it really show cases their menu and let’s them get away from the traditional menu items.

Combination Brunch and Hipster Coffeehouse!! I am glad they've survived the pandemic. When I go here I only order from the Test Kitchen menu and the one problem is not too many meatless selections. But what they offer is tasty. Plus they have house brand hot sauces that are tasty complement to the food.

Great service, very friendly, the grilled cheese was amazing, fantastic experience all around
