The Budlong Hot Chicken - side

Cute place! We are super picky when it comes to Southern chicken it was good! I would come back here if we go this way again. The craft sodas were good too. I got the popcorn chicken, Mac cheese, biscuit my husband got a sandwich. The jam with the biscuit was great!

I’ve been coming here for years. Was always a go to Nashville hot chicken place for me. I ordered today from the Lincoln park location and the sandwich was not at all how I remember: small chicken, overcooked, not at all what I’ve known to expect from Budlong. There must be new management because I’ve seen similar recent reviews. Disappointing.

Portion sizes and seasoning have changed and not for the better. Used to be my favorite restaurant before now it’s mid at best. BRING BACK THE OLD BUDLONG
