The place was too packed, which some may argue is the culture of Italian eating, but it was to a point at which it wasn’t comfortable. too many tables for the room that it was. food wasn’t anything special. service was SLOW, which can be due to the over seating. that also causes a really loud atmosphere limiting the conversation as it is impossible to hear the people around you. food was kind of bland. Great service and ambiance. Food is delicious and a good value. Highly recommend it.

I went to Quartino with a group of 3, and we ordered a trio of entrees to share. Everything we tried was delicious, and the portions were filling at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is bustling but the lighting and decor make it feel simultaneously intimate. Definitely a worthwhile stop in River North.

Good food, but not great. Small tables with uncomfortable chairs. Plus they leave a metal pizza stand and 15 plates in the middle of your table regardless of whether or not you actually ordered a pizza. The waiter we had sucked. He was always interrupting our conversation and we were always looking for him when we needed something. I also find it extremely annoying that in order to make a reservation you have to give them a credit card

Great place for the whole family or a private lunch or dinner. Had a great time with good service and delicious cuisine.
