El Ideas - side

All I have to say is wow. This place is amazing. I was in Chicago to catch a flight and I stopped at El Ideas. The food is amazing and the vibe is immaculate. Every single course worked so well and the flavors were crazy good! Chef Phillip Foss is really astonishing. I will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Chef!!

Amazing presentation, great atmosphere. However, I feel the food did not meet expectations at all. All the dishes, as other reviews have pointed out, had too much salt even when you wouldn't expect it. Every dish. While some dishes were fine, I felt many did not work. I do not feel like it was worth the price I paid for.

Amazing experience and delectable plates. Very creative and perfectly presented.

Food was fantastic! Presentation was great as well, really enjoyed touring the kitchen and watching the chefs work. Will definitely be back

Absolutely disappointing… made reservations through online portal for my wife's birthday over 2 weeks prior and they told me via email that their website had a “glitch” 2 days prior to our reservation. This place came Highly recommended by our friends but they didn't have the decency to call me that our reservation was cancelled.
