VIBE WAS GOOD FOOD WAS NOT NONE OF THE FOOD WAS COOKED FRESH THE WAFFLES WERE TOUGH CHICKEN WAS NOT GOOD GRITS WERE COLD I WAS DISAPPOINTED THEY USED TO HAVE GOOD

I went in the 39th and King Drive walking in was greeted very clean great energy greeted by some very handsome men I ordered the shrimp and grits this is where it goes down very quickly my grits were very cold they put the hot gravy grape sauce the Grits were still cold the cheese wasn't even melted it's supposed to been gouda whatever it was it look like American cheese the sausages that they give you were burnt on both sides they were burnt you guys know they were burned everything tastes scorch but the shrimp are fresh why would you charge $25 for cold grits that you put a small amount on the bottom of a tray that was broken why would you give me a broken plate cold grits scorch sausage no burnt sausages they were so bitter and burnt on a very thin bed of cold grits the reason why I'm complaining I've been there before the Grits will always nice you've always been consistent so when you are not it stands out and you are not today and it wasn't even crowded and it made no sense losing me and my co-workers and friends and families as customers it's no big deal to you because you're going to make money anyways but you will not make it again off of me I'm so disappointed and when I didn't tip the girl she never came back with my receipt she never came back to say thank you she never came back to the table at all I was going to give her a cash tip she saw me hit no tip she walked away only thing good about that place it was clean the men were handsome the water was cold and I'm disappointed $25 better places with shrimp and grits

This food was disgusting, greens juice all over my food, dressing had no flavor and fish was salty, this is the second time i ordered food and it was nasty, they have officially lost me as a customer

Place was friendly, service was great, food was pipping hot except the chicken was room temperature.

My bf and I are visiting from Atlanta and came here after a few disappointing experience at other establishments and this place did not disappoint. Parking was easy to find, the owner was friendly and greeted us as we walked in, he also came to check on us as we ate. The host greeted us as soon as we walked in, she also had a friendly disposition. Our server, Micaiah, was amazing and very sweet. She was patient as we mulled over the menu and offered her honest opinion about the food. The drinks were ice cold and perfect, not overly sour or sweet. I order fried catfish and a waffle, my bf ordered fried wings with Mac, greens, potato salad and cornbread. We both agreed our plates were 10/10. Seasoned perfectly! Side note: The smell of fresh cleaner hit in the face as soon as I got near the bathroom. Clean, and smelled great! ?? We don’t leave for 3 days and will probably be back again before this trip is over.
