1st time there.....place is a hidden gem in Roger's Park!!! Food was great and fast!!!! I had the pub burger....perfect!!! Next time I'm again, I'll be ordering the pizza!!!!! Great place!!!!

Great Chicago Tavern pizza. First visit in twenty years.

Fantastic “old school” Chicago tavern style thin crust pizza in Rogers Park. Retro bar that dishes up some amazing pies. Full bar. Tots and Onion Rings are outstanding. Service is friendly. We normally order two mediums and have plenty of leftovers. The Barbeque pizza (with Hecky's sauce) is ridiculously good. The coleslaw alone is oustanding. Also partial to the “Angry Hawaiian”! Parking is available after 7 pm (I think) at Midas across the street, DO NOT park in Walgreen's lot.

Flaming Italian beef (with giardenera peppers) was my favorite. The crust is thin, though not the finest I’ve had. Sausage and pepper was deec. The place was packed on a Wednesday evening. Friendly service though many times hard to find. I wouldn’t recommend the mozzarella sticks as they are all stuck together. The nachos not so much either, i like my nachos covered with sauces like guac sour cream and salsa, here there was just some on the side (no guac just avocado). Dessert cookie skillet … – show

Was there as an invite to a party. Had no control over the food that was provided. So some of the criticism goes to the host of the party for choosing the food. Pizza was just ok IMO. No classic type of sausage, or cheese, or pepperoni were offered. But like I said not yo blame the establishment on that. However the pizza other than liking the thin style, the crust was very soggy and no crunch. And the flavor of the chosen pizza was just average.
