Putalj Winery Split - Sibenik

Ideal for a half-day tour near a local vineyard and winery. It was great to get the chance to talk to the owner and have an in-depth explanation of the winemaking process, and to discuss the local wine varieties in this globalized industry. Great snacks to accompany the rich aromas of Zinfandel and Plavac Mali Red and Rose.

Great experience. The staff was very human and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about Croatian wine and history. No limit to the amount of wine you can try. They also produce their own olive oil you can also try. Transport to and from the vineyard is provided.

This was the highlight of my stay in split! Great views, wines, and cheese. Learned so much about the process of olive oil and wine making and history of croatia. The hosts were so friendly and easy to talk to making the time fly. Highly recommend!!
