The Coach House - Shropshire

A lovely B&B in a great location. The owners Jane and Nigel were very accommodating, we arrived late but Jane went above and beyond to ensure we had our room key. Our room was small but clean and we had a lovely home cooked English...breakfast included within the price which was great value for money. Nigel even gave us a lift to our car the next morning when we were unable to get a taxi! Highly recommended!

Beautiful place, right on the small town. friendly, clean and great rooms. a beautiful walk and parking. breakfast was nice and a warm welcome. would have been back.

We visited and reviewed the Coach House three years ago when it was absolutely excellent and booked again anticipating the same. We were disappointed to find our room very grubby on arrival. We pointed this out to the owner the following day. After an apology...we found that, although the room had improved, it was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. We decided to stay as it was difficult to find another hotel in Bridgnorth at short notice. The room did not improve during our stay. We were also disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed during our stay (permanently On a more positive note the breakfast had a good choic eof food and was generous and good. The Hotel had a general air of shabbyness inside and out and does not reflect the photographs in its various websites. We will not stay there again and do not recommend it.

This place use to be a pub many years ago and has been turned into a lovely place to stay for a short visit. The room we had was very small bit the bed was really comfortable. Staff friendly and Tina who served breakfast was...lovely. Oh and there is a great selection for breakfast and the full English is lovely. The only thing I would say it was noisey as it is on the main road but the Inn can't help that. Highly recommend for is responsible cost

I recently spent a night at this lovely old building located in the Lower Town area of Bridgnorth. The Coach House, formerly a pub and later a restaurant, is now a charming B&B run solely by owners Nigel and Jane. They have created a welcoming "Home from Home" just minutes away from the River Severn, surrounded by pubs and restaurants. My room on the first floor was spacious considering the building's age, and was nicely furnished with a modern shower room. The staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate me, even holding onto my luggage for hours so I could explore the Severn Valley Railway and Bridgnorth. The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast in a quaint dining room. I found the rate to be very reasonable and the service far surpassed many hotels I have stayed at in the past. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
