I had a wonderful afternoon tea at the visitor center, where I sampled the delicious "Stiper scones"! I highly recommend visiting this amazing place and taking a leisurely stroll. The walking trails are not too challenging, and now that the bilberries are starting to appear, it's an added bonus. The visitor center has excellent facilities with easy access for those with disabilities. The arts and crafts are also great value, perfect for some early Christmas shopping. And of course, don't forget to indulge in some tea and cakes.
I visited this restaurant last week and was impressed by the selection of local craft beers available. The tea room was charming, with a variety of delicious looking cakes on display. The staff were knowledgeable about the local area and I would highly recommend a visit.
You have to pop into this cafe if you are out and about at Stiperstones. We were greeted by the lovely and very informative Gerry Hughes. He can give you top walking tips and local knowledge. It also proves what a small world it is, as he used to live in the house next door to us. The cafe serves lovely quiche and cakes. Various drinks. The drop in centre displays lots of local crafts and history. A great place to visit. Dog friendly too.
We were attending the Hay Meadow festival which was next to this place. Some lovely art work on display and for sale. They serve drinks and cakes which all looked good.
