We pass this place regularly on our way to and from shopping at Sainsburys and today, Saturday, I asked my husband to stop as I fancied fish and chips and there was a queue indicating the place served good food. We had a large cod and regular chips each and ate them on our laps in the car. I have rarely enjoyed something quite so much. The fish was cooked just right in crispy, light batter and was a generous chunk of flaky fresh cod. The chips were divine tasty, crisp on the outside and floury/steamy on the inside. Result? Two happy people for just over £12. There are lots of other things on offer (pies, burgers, kebabs, sausages) and I can't wait to try them. I'm astonished by some of the really negative reviews of this place. They do not reflect my own experience.

Very impressed with the fish and chips here. Fish size is very generous and lovely thin crispy batter. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The worst possible customer service experience possible. Inefficient and disorganised and very rude.

If you want disgusting food and to be treated like dirt then go ahead. Worst food and customer service I’ve ever experienced. Place should be shut down.
