Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited Sawa for lunch this Sunday and sat at the bar. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The women’s restroom was quite dirty, with a significant amount of grime in the stalls, and there were an overwhelming number of fruit flies. Additionally, the manager for the day, Emma, spent most of her time on her phone and was very unhelpful when I tried to bring the situation to her attention. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 2.
I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend on October 14th for a late lunch. Unfortunately, I found the service to be below my expectations. The food was decent, but I've experienced much better at other restaurants where the food was exceptional and the service was excellent, which made me want to return. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 2.
However, about 15 minutes in, we ran out of wasabi and needed more. I attempted to find our waiter but had no luck, so I asked the hostess to help us. Instead, we were approached by a visibly unhappy bartender. We requested wasabi, and she asked my friend if they needed more chopsticks. We were confused by this question until we noticed a dropped chopstick on the floor. It seemed like it would have been a simple courtesy for her to pick it up and say, "Oh, you dropped one. Let me bring you a new pair." Instead, she left it there, forcing us to get a new set ourselves. When I inquired about our waiter again, the hostess informed me that he had left for the day. It felt as though we had been abandoned and had to fend for ourselves. We found ourselves getting up a third time to ask for the check. The same unfriendly bartender arrived, looking displeased, and just dropped the bill on our table. I've never had to struggle so much for service in a restaurant before. To the bartender, it's clear you need a change in attitude—don’t you rely on tips? A little kindness would go a long way. To management, perhaps it's time to reconsider your hiring choices or provide some retraining. As for the food, it wasn't great either; the sushi should be served cold. We had a party of about 20 for a birthday party (half kids). Making a reservation was easy and everything ran so smoothly. Delicious, everyone had fun and the service was notable. Thank you for a memorable night! Vegetarian options: Tofu, veggie options. I mean, one of the best places at each location the food served just the SAME quality, always! Their service is quick and efficient, even when their dine in could get REALLY crowded. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
