Both times, I had to drive back for 10 minutes to get the missing items, even though they should have been open. It would be a nice gesture to let us know if something is unavailable when we pick up our order. These little details matter, especially when things go wrong at the worst times, and it feels frustrating when there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
I understand that working conditions can be tough, especially with personal issues, as I also work in food retail. Interacting with customers can be challenging, but maintaining respect goes a long way. Simple gestures like making eye contact and warmly welcoming guests can make a big difference. Employees shouldn't feel pressured to rush customers through the service line; if they offer good service, patrons will be willing to wait. Conversely, when service is unfriendly or hurried, it leads to frustration and anger among customers. I also recognize that staff need to communicate with the prep team when food supplies are running low, but there's no need for shouting in the kitchen. Respect and friendliness are essential for retaining customers. While the food was good, I won't be returning.
At least this place is consistently bad. I understand times are tough, but it shouldn't be that difficult to prepare what the customer ordered and double-check it. I've experienced issues with missing guacamole (and yes, I'm aware it's an upcharge), stale chips, and incorrect orders.
My partner and I ordered online from this business, not only that they did not have our order ready at the scheduled time, but they were completely unapokalet about it. in order to supplement injuries, they refused to make our food at all, although we showed that we were paid and ready to wait. my partner wasn't rude or unkind for them, so they had absolutely no reason to reject the service. I am absolutely appalled that chipotle would reject the service for a paying customer. each time I went to a restaurant, with a mixup over an online order, they have made the order and apologised. there is absolutely no excuse for this unprofessional behavior. avoid this chipotle at all costs.
I got food poisoning tonight and tried to call the store but the girl who answered did not seem concerned. Please do not eat the lettuce there.
