Sam's Southern Eatery - Shreveport

Always cook to order. Fresh, hot and must taste the cake man! Shrimp and fish and sides fried or baked. You get a lot of food. It's always the same, good!

First, there fried oysters are mouth watering. For the last 6 years I've never found better. All of the food I've had from any location is mind blowing! From fried to grilled. You can't go wrong with Sam's EVER!! A plus they give you more of what you ordered. Like if you get 6 shrimp ? you are going to get more than 6. That's always been my experience . Calling in for take out or dinning in.

I am writing while I am angry. I just had a negative experience at Sam 's. My food took forever it seemed to arrive and when somebody put it in the window it sat there. I had to walk into the kitchen to ask that I get my food. When I got it the young man didn 't say anything. I told him I was angry and I would feel better if he at least he said, I am sorry sir it took so long to get your food. He didn 't say that. He said, I didn 't even see your food. No apology. I won 't go back.

Either their phone is broken and they have no desire to repair it or simply do not answer it. Eating was good in the past, but hard to try to be won?t answer to the phone.

The fried shrimp-Po-Junge is the best I ever had.... the pommes could have been crimped, but still were good, the red beans and rice and the chicken pliers were also good.... the service was also very nice....You must order through the gas station next door, but the lady who took our order was very warm and friendly and made our waiting for our food completely ok.... I will definitely return for a Po boy.
