The omelet was soft and gooey, packed with flavor and cheese, making it a treat rather than something to have every day. After finishing our meals, we couldn't resist ordering slices of freshly made cake and a cinnamon roll. Everything exceeded our expectations, especially when we compared them to other places we've eaten. One of the best surprises was the Apple Pie with Green Chile—its sweet and earthy flavor was delightful. From the food to the outstanding customer service, Aunt Nancy's has made a lasting impression on us. We've added it to our favorite spots and will definitely make it a regular stop whenever we’re in the area. Unfortunately, in all the excitement, we forgot to take photos of our food!
The café has a charming hometown vibe, and the staff is very attentive. It was a bit surprising that they didn't have any Tabasco sauce, but my breakfast was quite unique. I especially appreciated the presence of actual sausage in the gravy for my biscuit—definitely a bonus!
We were eager to try this restaurant, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The food tasted homemade and everything was outstanding! We highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. We've definitely found our new favorite dining spot!
Amazing food and wonderful service! I ordered the house special, chicken fried steak with green chili sauce. Put your hands down what I've ever had! It is hard to decide what was better, the breakfast or Pams wonderful service. If you're around somewhere, I suggest you look by and try.
Classic cafe atmosphere that is authentic (as in its super kitschy, but not because they think you’ll like it but because they do . The food quality was great for a cafe (we’ve been to a few cafes in the area and this was our favorite food-wise by far! . We split the special a cinnamon roll and a hot chocolate: •Eggs sunny side up: Average (what you’d expect from any cafe •Cottage potatoes: Above average (comparing to hash browns you’d typically get at a cafe . They were like a mix between scalloped potatoes and hash browns and we loved it. •Biscuit and gravy: Average (what you’d expect from any cafe •Chicken fried steak: Above average. They had great flavor and good mouth feel (whatever that means, but I can’t figure out how else to explain it •Hot chocolate: Excellent! They served it in two pieces, a mug FULL of whipped cream (like actually cream that was whipped and then a cute little metal container to dump on top. •Cinnamon Roll: Excellent! Great frosting, served hot and with a strawberry (which I thought was unique AND delicious! . My wife said it was the best she’d had, which I thought was a little over the top, but it was definitely delicious! It was a little more pricey than I expected, but within the realm of what to expect from a cafe. Our meal ended up costing about $20 for all of that. The waitress was nice, but we’re glad we got in early because it got crowded (Saturday morning by the time we left and she was busy. We’d like to come back next time we’re in Show Low!
