Contribuiți la feedbackThis used to be our favorite spot when we lived in the area, so we were excited to visit again while in town from Florida. Unfortunately, things have changed. We were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty on a Friday night at 8 PM, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Despite the lack of crowds, our food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the chicken tacos were disappointing—cold, dry, lacking in flavor, and the tortillas were stale. The menu seemed slightly different from our last visit about six months ago, and the welcoming atmosphere we previously enjoyed was missing. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in ownership, but the overall quality has noticeably declined. For nearly $100, this was a disappointing experience, and unfortunately, we don’t plan on returning. I’m not the type to leave a negative review, but I’m hoping this reaches the right people to help get the standards back to where they once were.
BEWARE OF EXTRA charge on phone verses online it’s a 35 cent fee ordering on phone per item. Second my food was giving to another customer then waited for staff to get food back from the customer car. Charged for extra beans that were already on the order I would highly recommend you stay away or order online only. Will not return The food just ok. Had a stomach after. Bad business habits charging customers for ordering on phone
Ordered lunch for takeout. Reasonably priced for the area. Quantity was enough for leftovers. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros and Cheese Enchiladas. FIRE!!! Very picky with Mexican food as a west coast CA native, but this place hit the spot and nailed the flavor. A+ for authentic Mexican cuisine, ambience friendly cashier! I will be back for dine-in.
Located in the strip mall on Pump Rd in Short Pump, it's very nice inside and has decent priced lunch specials. Not the best Mexican food I've had in town, but if you're in the area anyway, it's a perfectly good option. Service was quick and the white ranch dip was tasty.
Fantastic carnitas dinner. The pork was mostly shredded rather than chunks. Delicious. Ate at the bar and chatted with a local couple who are regulars. I entered two nearby Mexican restaurants (Mexico too dreary and Casa del Barco too mall corporate) and left before sticking with Los Panchos. Glad I did. It's a local gem.
