Subway - Shorewood

This restaurant is supposed to open at 9 o'clock, but in reality, it does not open until much later. Do not arrive early.

While at the Subway located in Shorewood, Illinois, I observed a Caucasian man with his two daughters who were also taking advantage of the free sandwich deal. It seemed that he did not encounter any issues with receiving multiple sandwiches for his family. As an African American, I felt discriminated against when I was told that my family of four could only receive one sandwich. This experience left me feeling disappointed, and I do not plan to return to this particular Subway location. I would advise other African Americans to think twice before visiting the Subway in Shorewood, Illinois, as there seemed to be a noticeable difference in treatment between this location and another Subway on Essington Road in Joliet. It is important for businesses to hire staff who do not exhibit prejudice and to prioritize customer service over the color of a customer's skin.

The staff at this restaurant was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious. Both employees at the counter were friendly and entertaining to watch while they worked. They were also very efficient and quick with orders. I appreciate the great atmosphere created by these two young employees who made working there seem like fun. Others may need larger gloves for a certain lol. Thank you, Subway, for a great experience!

The prices are very high for what they get and the sandwiches are very small. the brot literally roared after they roasted my sandwich. the hired seem not to enjoy what they do and the chain will burden you almost $3.00 to make all 6 inches sub an salat! it doesn't make any sense to charge them to remove the brot to make an salat. also they do not give them serviettes nor have they placed any comfortably in the restaurant. will never come back. jersey mike is so much better!

They close at 9pm not 10pm. I found this out because I placed an order on the app and I was told my food would be ready at 9:25pm I got there at 9:20pm to find out that they closed at 9 and there was no one there to refund my order or cancel it. Subway isn’t what it used to be. I’m highly disappointed that they wouldn’t cancel my order and make me drive there to find out they’re closed.
