Portillo's Hot Dogs - Shorewood

Great, except I asked for extra crispy fries but got regularly done fries.

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at Portillos. We went shopping at Target and had our Eye appointments at America's Best. It is so conveniently located. Right after, we popped in over to the Portillos drive thru, which was not too crowded. We quickly placed our order and we received our food in a timely manner. The food was hot and it was delicious. Thank You Portillos!

Night crew is horrible. They sell old refried fries and old stale beef. I literally saw the guy take all the cooked fries out of the container they were sitting in and put them back in the grease and served it to multiple people in the drive thu. Burgers were sitting out on the broiler and they got ran thru machine again served to customers. Things are don't differently during the day I suppose. Portillos you guys need to get it together!

There is a very tall young man that works outside and he says he's just 16, WOW! He was the kindest, so mature, and most well-mannered teen I've ever met. Deep voice too, this kid doesn't sound or look 16. As he stood out there in the freezing cold he never looked like he was going to complain. He got my special order correct and didn't have a problem or need assistance putting in my special request, actually several special requests. Food was good. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. The service was enough to make me not want to return to this location.
