The waitress was friendly and pleasant, even after I returned pancakes that were burnt on the bottom. The omelette was tasty, the biscuits and gravy were good, the coffee was enjoyable, but unfortunately, the pancakes were not up to par.

This is a charming spot with fantastic omelets! We’ve visited this block numerous times, but we never noticed this hidden gem behind the green door. Definitely worth a visit!

Probably the best place for breakfast in this area of Seattle/Shoreline. Service was quick and friendly, food was excellent and plentiful. Basically an old fashioned diner experience and that in these days of chain restaurants is not a bad thing at all.

This was hands down the worst breakfast I've ever had. My husband decided to pick up takeout from this place instead of our usual spot on a whim since it was closer and had good reviews. It was a huge mistake. The sausage, toast, and pancakes were all burnt. The chicken fried steak was chewy and had an odd, overly salty aftertaste. The French toast was dry, tasteless, and ice cold (despite us living just 5 minutes away). A few bites in, I quickly opted to skip the meal altogether in favor of one of those chalky protein shakes instead. I refused to waste my calories on this disgusting food.

This place is awesome. The first thing you notice is how clean it is. Even all the little Knick knacks were clean, meaning someone takes the time to dust them. Great laid back atmosphere with humor. For instance, one sign says, ?beware?old mencooking!? Then our food came and it got even better! Their omelette are four eggs, and I got the meat lovers. Came with hashbrowns and toast. The meal was delicious, as was the coffee. But what really made it was the person who helped us. I may bewrong, but I also got the feeling she and her husband might own it, but she was really nice and super efficient.
