Shingle Inn

My mother and I had a later lunch on her 88th birthday, after shopping in Strathpine. We enjoyed the most delicious quiche and sweet potato fries that we have ever had whilst dining out. We will definitely be back!!

Took my younger sister here to get pancakes and the pancakes were excellent. Warm, soft and fluffy. Ate it with banana, ice cream, whip cream, strawberries and a hot chocolate. The foot traffic was moderately busy, but the wait for our food didn't take long. Will definitely come back again! :

I love the Shingle Inn. I have very fond memories of the Shingle Inn when my grandmother and. I used to go into the city back in the day. I now take my son who loves it as well. No complaints here the only thing is I don’t think the person who made my order didn’t read the request as I had also asked for a an ice coffee with no ice cream and a small amnt of cream with almond milk . It came out looking great but tooo much cream and too much ice cream which I didn’t request . but other then that I love it .

Coffee was excellent, breakfast came out in a good time. Nice and hot great price. We got the pancakes avo on toast and was the perfect size.

Lovely experience. A little slice of old luxury. Everything beautifully presented. Cakes window. Seating inside and outside. Small interior, but cozy. Reasonable prices. Helpful staff.
