The pizza is much better than before, and the Mexican dishes are fresh and delicious. I recently tried the beef tacos, which were made with steak instead of ground beef and were fantastic. Be sure to ask for the hot sauce for an extra kick. The prices are reasonable and the food won't disappoint. The only downside is the small seating area and outdated decor, but the quality of the food makes up for it. If you're in the mood for Mexican or want to try Peruvian and Guatemalan dishes, this is the place to go. And don't forget to try the pizza - it's also very good!
The customer service at this restaurant is very subpar. When I ordered tacos al pastor, they were filled with more fat than meat. I waited for about 45 minutes, and during that time, the waitress was constantly on her cellphone.
The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. What else could you ask for?
The food was delicious! We ordered chicken tamales and pork pupusas, and they were absolutely amazing. This place is perfect for a fast lunch or a casual meal.
I recently discovered that this restaurant is still listed on Yelp, despite the fact that it seems to be going out of business. I had a negative experience a few months ago and left a review, but it has mysteriously disappeared. This, combined with the many 5-star reviews, makes me question whether Yelp accepts payment from restaurants in exchange for favorable reviews. The food was average, not particularly good or bad, but the wait for simple items like a sandwich and chicken wings was incredibly long. Despite checking on our order every 15 minutes, we were constantly told it was almost ready. We only tried this place because we used to frequent it when it was Winchell's, and it is more convenient than going into Kingston. However, we wasted so much time that we might as well have driven to Kingston to eat. It's frustrating to read comments about great service when you have to order at the counter yourself. I am now hesitant to trust Yelp reviews.
