Kwik Shoppe - Shoemakersville

We really enjoyed the first visit. Very relaxing atmosphere and super friendly staff. Our orders were quickly completed and prepared. The food was delicious and not fat. This is a great place for a quick family stop the food is good, the prices are very reasonable and there are a variety of products to choose.

I would have rated this restaurant a five, but I have to give it a four because of one staff member. I've been going there since the mid-70s, and I’ve never encountered rudeness—until tonight. It felt like the girl didn’t want to be there; she didn’t even know what a chocolate sundae was, and my Dusty Road dessert had barely any toppings. She seemed generally disoriented and appeared annoyed while serving us. I was worried that with the thick makeup she was wearing, her eyes might accidentally fall into our ice cream. Overall, it was just disappointing.

Love the ice cream and service! The ice cakes are homemade and DELICIOUS!

I went in for a milkshake and ended up trying the French fries, which were delicious. My husband found the strawberry milkshake to be a bit too sweet for his liking, but I enjoyed my chocolate milkshake. I did think it was a little overpriced for what we ordered.
