Häagen-dazs In Arl - Shirlington

My experience at this particular location last night was terrible. In Pentagon City Mall, when I ordered my ice cream, they typically hand it to you before you make your payment at the register. However, the person who served me last night did the opposite. Instead of handing me my ice cream, he placed it near the register with the other customers, who were already holding their ice cream. I felt furious, discriminated against, and judged because I am black, and he stereotypically assumed that all black people steal. I mentioned to the cashier that the customer service was unfair to me and that I no longer wanted my ice cream due to how I was treated. Everyone behind me was given their ice cream in their hands, while mine was placed in a crowded area where people were coughing and breathing on it. The cashier apologized, but this behavior was unacceptable. People need to treat everyone with the same respect. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The ice cream at Häagen-Dazs was delicious, just as expected. My son really enjoyed the waffle cone.
