You’d expect to at least have electric right? I thought that too! Well it’s been 2 months of complaining about electrical problems in my kitchen. Using any outlet knocks all of the power out in my unit. It completely broke my dishwasher. And for 2 months now it’s been “waiting for a part” or “the electrician will come next week”. 2 months later, nothing. Still paying $2300 a month for a unit that has electric in half of it and no dishwasher.Pay close attention when you move in. I made the mistake of not opening up the new looking washing machine. It’s full of mold and makes my clothes smell horrible. I need to use 2-3 drier sheets per load to get rid of the smell. On the bright side general management, and concierge are great. Always kind and helpful. As long as your unit never needs any repairs, it’s probably a good place to live!
Before moving to Crystal Square, I called the lease department and I met Pamela. Pamela was very helpful and insightful. I viewed the apartment via zoom and I trusted Pamela with everything she was telling about the apartment. The building is beautiful. The building also has amazing amenities, great location, and the apartment is very spacious. I'm so excited to be part of Crystal Square community. Pamela set me up for an easy and smooth transition into my new home.
This place is super cute. It has a very nice presence as soon as you walk in, and you are greeted by someone at the front desk. My brother just rented a place and it is close to everything. Amazon Fresh, multiple restaurants, CVS, movies, great little coffee shop and so much more. The only downfall was that the electricity went out Saturday around 6 pm and didn't come back on until Monday morning. At one point even the generator went out and you had to walk the dark stairs. It seemed that ours was the only building out.
I've lived here 5 years now. The rent steadily goes up and sue to corporate rentals, the quality of tenants steadily goes down. Weekly emails to remind tenants of common sense rules.
I moved out of this place two weeks after I move in... The lower levels facing north or west is nightmarishly noisy. I was woken up at 5 in the morning on my first day moving in, and I suffered two weeks of hardly any sleep before finally moving out. Even for the newly-renovated units, the windows are still single pane so they won 't block any external noise. The community send automated emails weekly reminding 'community rules ', expressing a feeling that the management team is responsive, but they actually lack initiative. Hardly reply to emails unless you call them or go to the office in person.
