Circa At Clarendon - Shirlington

The food selection at CIRCA Clarendon is nicely varied and every dish I have tried to date has been nicely prepared and tasty. Service is both good and pleasant. My family regards CIRCA as one of the best restaurants in Clarendon.

Good friends meeting for good food. Great day! Attentive, but not overly so, service. Only comment: another staff person (not our wait staff) cleared the table of my friends' plates while I was still actively eating. Not a professional move.

Underwhelmed with the food this time. the crab cakes were so so and the steak on the steak salad was tough. we typically go for brunch and consistently have an excellent experience. dinner was slightly disappointing.

We used to dine there regularly prior to the Pandemic, then moved too far away to driver there to dine. But we had lunch there while visiting someone recently and it was great! The food was exceptionally delicious. I had the steak salad, my favorite and it was the best I ever remember. I ordered the steak medium rare, and it came out medium rare. It was of a size that I have to slice each piece, versus already sliced or in pieces. It was perfect and the overall taste of the salad was exceptional. My wife very much enjoyed her Jumbalaya too. And the service was excellent as well. It was lunch on Thursday, May 30th.

We went to celebrate a college graduation. We sat outside which was very nice and comfortable. The wine and food was delicious. It took a little time for it to come out but worth the wait. The server was very friendly, pleasant and attentive without out being too much. Would recommend highly.
