Oumi Genji - Shinjukuku

The dinner was fantastic, with delicious food and excellent service! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends.

I had a genuine Kansai-style sukiyaki experience at this restaurant. The owner and staff were incredibly polite and friendly.

The staff at the restaurant gave us a very friendly welcome! Even though it was a small restaurant, the food was delicious and definitely worth the price. We enjoyed our visit.

Our last night in Tokyo was made even more special with our sukiyaki meal at Oumi genji !!! The owner could not have been nicer in welcomes and explaining in detail the entire menu. The food is fabulous and service even better. Highly recommend this restaurant if ever in Tokyo. Best sukiyaki in my entire life !!! Arigato gozaimasu !!!

The Sukiyaki was delicious, which was the Kansai style Sukiyaki which I prefer. The chef was very friendly and was fluent in english, so there was no problem understanding the menu and ingredients. He explained the Omi beef is one of the three best beef in Japan, and he himself is from Omi area. Such a pleasant experience.
