Very authentic meals that differ from the rest of the food you receive in India. The family here is doing an amazing job. Probably the best Lassi I had.

Excellent Northeast/Naga soul food. Very recommended. I am so glad that we decided to try this place, because not only the food hits in my soul I did not know that I had it, but even the ambience was simply perfect for a quick afternoon meal. With only 4 tables (one overlooking the lively streets of Shillong), filled with many extras such as homemade dry meat picks, locally written novels and plants you can buy together with your meal; this little joint is so juicy, so uncomplicated. It boasts nothing but simplicity, healthy local, tasty meals that are served piping-hot. Ordnete the smoked beef thali/combo, that came with a bamboo shoot (fermented, I think) soup and some fresh veggies; the crunchy on them was impeccable. They serve a spicy Chutney with onions, which in any case makes you work a slow sweat so carefully with this because it crawls on you.

The Square Point Naga Food restaurant is located at Don Bosco square in Shillong. You'll find a nice sign board and few more inside the complex which will guide you to the first floor. It is a small place with a few tables and the kitchen there. The food was really spicy and tasty. Authentic Naga food can be tried here. The beef and pork pieces were generously filled in each plate. Recommended!!

This place is for those who enjoy pork. One of the best rice hotel in the area. I personally went to this hotel a couple of times and i loved it.
