On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina Sherwood

That was my first visit, and I was less than impressed. The service was not so big filled with an empty drinking glass more than a full, the food took a while to get out, the person in the next cabin asked for their review 4 times before finally getting it, we waited almost 20 minutes to our... The food wasn't the best either. The queen was lukewarm. The appetizer was dried and the Guac on the plate was almost hard as if it sat under a warming lamp too long. I got the enchiladas for dinner, there was not enough sauce to cover even half the tortilla, and there were less chicken inside than one would expect from a Taco Bell. The bill was $66ish plus a $20 tip. Next time I will skip at the border and just go to Taco Bell for mediocrity in service and food at a whole range of much less money!

The food was really good as soon as she reheats almost everything. Yes, a star lost because several items that my group had ordered were cold or warm enough to be cold within a few minutes. One item was refrigerator cold. One they heated our stuff, the food was really good. Another star lost because the plant was so dirty. Food, garbage, coronations in the seats. Bunch of garbage under the tables where you would place your feet. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I didn't even want to walk on the floor.

The drinks and appetizers were good, but our waiter Josh, who was either drunk or high, took too long to get our orders out and our frozen drinks were almost melted. He also forgot to check if we need anything. He took so long that we decided to go our most important entrees.

Cheese dive was cool and thick, part of my order was wrong. The taco I ordered came out with less than one spoon of meat and a sprinkle of cheese. It was basically all bowl!

Chips and salsa were good. So was the queso, but that 's where it all started going bad. Ordered the chimichanga. It came out piping hot but the beef was so chunky and not evened out. The beans were cold. Obviously had just been pulled out of the freezer and not warmed up enough. Got fries instead of rice and theybwere delicious and perfectly fried. The service started off great but the girl had to leave and pick up her friend so she told us she 'd have a coworker check on us. That never happened. We were completely forgotten about and had to flag down the bartender to ask for a check. Nobody ever thought to ask if we were ok or if we needed anything so either they dropped the ball or she didn 't tell anybody we still needed attention? Regardless it was a terrible experience from the cold beans to the overall neglected service. Can 't see a reason to return ?
