Sawmill Prime Rib & Steakhouse Sherwood Park

The buffet had a great selection and was all good except the Roast Beef which was and end cut or medium well as was tough-for the first time \i can remember it was the only time \i couldn't eat it\!I told the waitress and subsequently filled in a survey on their website but nobody ever got back to me. That's why I am posting this online.Disappointing.

A group of us come here every Thursday for the wing special and the experience is generally very good....you can't beat their wings in either price or taste. When we arrived this past Thursday the bar was very quiet yet several waitresses were working. We seated ourselves and waited for 5 or 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. The very friendly and professional waitress that came to our table asked if our waitress had taken our order yet, to which we replied "no", so she very promptly took it from us. Our own waitress finally arrived with our drinks without so much as an apology (her name on the bill was "Kristina"). We subsequently ordered wings, which were delicious as usual and arrived at our table very quickly. Kristina came back and took another wing order from us and I advised her that the Bellini that had been brought to our table tasted like soap ! Kristina just looked at us, laughed and kept walking away. Everyone at the table was stunned, and thought she must be joking but she completely avoided our table after that. I finally had to take the drink to the bar myself to advise them of the problem. I then asked for a glass of red wine instead. Kristina eventually brought the wine to us, but didn't say what it was or offer any apologizes. Although the Bellini was removed from our bill, I noted that the glass of wine which I assumed would be a house blend was a $16 glass....not bad if they had asked us if thats what we wanted. Furthermore, although the waitress had been to our table sporadically, she did not clean away the dirty dishes with mounds of chicken bones !! Aside from the wings this was a terrible experience which will likely keep us from returning....some lessons on customer service are gravely needed for some staff at this place.

Great Brunch today, service was awesome. Young chef who made the omelettes did a great job. Deserts were very tasty. Great job to everyone today!

Visiting the sawmill was good. Our food came out in a timely manner while be hot and fresh. The drinks were fine. However one person in our group did not receive the beer they ordered instead getting something else. Overall very good.

A so so meal - friendly service though. They sure weren't busy so we could choose our spot They have a lounge and a dining room.
