Joey's Of Sherrills Ford

Checked out Joey's and was really impressed. Our server was great, but I'm assuming the manager or owner also greeted us and gave suggestions (and samples) of local, craft beers! We got the nachos, BBQ chicken pizza, Grandmas pizza, the rodeo burger and buffalo chicken wrap. Great food and experience!

We went in for a late lunch, early dinner. Sat outside in their nice covered area. Service was prompt and above average. No problems with the food or service. Decent beer selection. Convenient location with plenty of parking.

Where do I begin…. First of all I ordered a pasta dish with shrimp. It had NO shrimp in it. The sauce was flooded with these red pepper things, disgusting. Not only did I leave hungry, but it wasnt worthy of taking home. My son who is 18 can clear a pizza by himself barely ate half of his pizza. My husband did not like his food either. THEN we never really had one server. Several people seem to just stop by our table to check in on is. Very impersonal, needless to say no tip was given. The Calamari was not served like anywhere Ive ever ordered from. Served so small and saugy. Gross. I dont usually like to complain or even leave things on platforms like this but I must keep going. My bill was $91 plus change for three people who all were not satisfied so I decided to say something at the end of our meal. The waitress got the manager I told her how unhappy we were just to let you know the manager did nothing. She did not care with a rude face said “have a nice day”. I just spent $90 plus dollars- still hungry and I will never go back.

Have eaten there twice and while the food was adequate, it wasn't great.

When a restaurant advertises fine food, my expectations are a little higher. I ordered a veggies pasta dish. The good: the vegetables are all fresh, pasta cooked appropriately. My niece had Philly cheese steak and said it was good. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.The not so good, I could smell garlic salt, why use that? It's so awful. Fresh garlic has such a better flavor, so the sauce for the veggies could have been better, and they were slightly overcooked. The bread served with it is totally regrettable. At 19.00 at plate, they need to step it up. I ordered a Mark West, reasonably priced at 7.00 per glass and the bottle had been opened for too long to serve. I figured this place is a chain and it wasn't worth my time to complain.The place is new, so it was very clean with cute appointments. The metal chairs, although fashionable, are just not comfortable for most adults. If I'm in the area again, I won't be back.
