Burger Lounge - Sherman Oaks

I was the only Latina in the restaurant surrounded by about 20 Caucasians. It took over 20 minutes for my food to arrive, while everyone else's orders only took 10 minutes. The manager, who is Latino, helped ensure my order was not delayed any further. I noticed stares from other customers, both men and women, which made me feel uncomfortable. It seemed like everyone in the restaurant was staring at me, including a waitress with glasses and dark hair who seemed to give me a hard time last time I was there. It was strange to be the only non-white person in the restaurant and I wondered if that's why my order was delayed. The waitress did not seem to like me, as she would not respond when I thanked her. I felt like I didn't belong in a place where everyone else seemed to be wealthy and well-dressed. Next time, I will just get my food to go. The female employee with straight black hair, glasses, and tattoos seems to have a problem with pretty girls and Latinos. If I experience any more unwelcoming behavior from her, I will record and complain directly to her face.

The staff is friendly and provides excellent customer service at a reasonable price.

We used to love the West side location. I had no idea this one was here until I searched on Google. The restaurant was clean, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and we discovered that kids eat for free on Tuesdays! The food was very hot and fresh. We will definitely return.

Several tables benches in back not cleaned for more than 20 minutes while we ate. We would have preferred to sit at one of them to avoid sitting directly under an air conditioning vent.

I've been here several times and absolutely love it! their burgers are tasteful, the salat bungalows are the size of the actual rolls, and the service is always excellent.
